~More Three Speckled Hens~

One of best things about going to these antique shows and flea markets is meeting new friends!  Dustin, Charley and I met some new friends at   The Three Speckled Hens Show this past weekend.  First let me introduce you to our neighbors to the right of us.  Bob and Delia, were a blast to be next to!  We were laughing and telling stories all day!

I loved this vintage laundry basket full of embroidered days of the week tea towels!  Delia collects and sells only the best!

Another great item in their booth was the vintage BABY BLOCKS!  Look how cute they were displayed in this French Bidet....and enamelware bowl....

Another great booth was directly across from us....Meet Terry, Danny and Don :)  We had so much fun with these three!  There was so much to look at in their booth!  Dustin and I would get there early in the morning and find most of the vendors in their booth....

Terry makes these beautiful music sheet wreaths....they were going like hot cakes!

The isles were narrow!  That is me in the grey sweatshirt and blue jeans,  standing out in the isle...because I had so much stuff in my booth..the customers would not have been able to get in!

Meet Karen!  She was on the other side of Terry, Danny and Don against the wall.  We all instantly became good friends.  Karen would always get there early in the morning and we would do our "rounds" going thru all the booths picking out what we wanted to buy or trade!!

Karen had lots of GREAT industrial items in her booth!  Karen ended  up going home with a beautiful flower/bakery cart!  (sorry I didn't get a pic), but she had her eye on it every morning.  :)!!

This was a favorite with those "dear husbands"  Dustin thought he would take a break here!

Thanks (Carrie, Susi and Kathy) The Three Speckled Hens for hosting such a fun show!  We look forward to seeing you again in May! xoxokathee

The Three Speckled Hens Show ~OUR BOOTH~ and some show pics!

As Promised I finally remembered to take a camera with me to The Three Speckled Hens Show in Paso Robles!  Wow~this was another fun show.....I can get used to this, as Charley (my husband) put it...this is just a good excuse for you to make friends and enjoy their company!  In other words he knows how happy I am!  I'm so loving my new job.  The show was held at the Paso Robles Fairgrounds, we had a booth outside on the grass.  The weather was a little bit of a challenge, but we all made the best of it and had a great time. On the set-up day the weather was in the 90's and Saturday you could feel it getting cooler, Sunday we had a little rain.  The vendors were all FUN and HAPPY!  All and all it was a great show!  I have so much to share with you..Don't forget you can click on the pictures to enlarge them.

This is the first morning!  Dustin and I are ready!!  Lets bring it on...open the gates...lets go!!  The customers were just as excited to get in!  Look at the line.....

Dustin and I went through our booth one more time to make sure everything was perfect.  All the items were priced and set just perfect.  Here are a few pictures from our booth...This is one of the industrial side of the booth.

Here is a picture of the middle of the booth...displaying our French Plant Stands and some of our Etched mirrors..

Here is one of my favorite pieces in the booth, an estate find, an Italian hutch in a great yellow color.  This looks so beautiful with the rose oils and rose water colors, not to mention the Italian toleware!

We love vintage luggage, and wow did we have alot of luggage here at this show!  They looked so beautiful on Dustin's Custom Tables~

We also love Architectural Salvage, we sold the banister in the above picture to one of our very first customers!  Here are some more pieces we had at the show..

One of my favorites to collect and sell are barbola mirrors and Italian tole pieces....

I can't tell you how sad I was to sell this favorite garden bench!  Such eye candy!...

We will be back in May for the next Three Speckled Hens Show!  Tomorrow I will be posting more great pictures from this show...our great neighbors Bob and Delia , Terry, Danny and Don and Karen!  We had a blast stay tuned!  xokathee

Sharing White Wednesday Architectural Pieces Around the House

Love these flea market finds!  I can never pass up a great architectural pediment and cut glass mirrors!  I love to create vignettes  using mirrors and architectural pieces.  These pieces are all for sale so if you see something you love email me at kathee@chateauetjardin.com. We are working on our website, and it should be up and running by Nov. 1st.
I'm always on the look out for  "White Benches"  they go everywhere inside and out!  I love to stack them and use them to display my special coffee table books.

Another staple in my house White Iron, here is another great find!  I love to hang these pieces outside  and create a vignette in the garden. I also love vintage swings!  This is one of my favorite places to sit and enjoy my garden.  Notice I have a green vintage bench here..mixed with antique corbels and newel post.  (All for sale)

Last but not least...my newest find...my copper topped bird house!  OMG I so love these!  They truly make a statement in my garden!

Now please go over to Kathleen's Faded Charmhttp://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com/ and enjoy the other participants!  Have a beautiful Wednesday...xokathee

Whites in the Garden for White Wednesday @Faded Charm

Just last week it was 113 degrees here in Santa Rosa Valley. Last night it poured RAIN all night and it is in the low 60's. Everything looks so CRISP and FRESH and the air smells CLEAN. Here are some Whites in the Garden after a night of rain. All of my French Lavabo's are getting ready for Chrismas plants, White Cyclamen and Ivy!
All of my Iceberg Roses are still blooming and are always fresh looking. Please click on the link to visit Kathleen's Faded Charm "our" host of White Wednesday. Thank you Kathleen! kathleen's Faded Charm.

I love all the history and layers and layers of chippy paint!  I use these French Lavabo's  inside and out.  I especially love them under windows.

On the fence, on the walls,  under the windows, inside and out!

I bought this planter from one of my favorite dealers Cheryl at Cherylsfascinatingfinds I love the big cabbage roses adorning the sides!  As Cheryl pointed out..I have a PAIR of them...even more AMAZING..she is right!

An Ebay find!  I love to move this piece all around...even in the house!  I love pieces like these....harder and harder to find!

One of my Favorite CAST Iron Urns....Always pretty surrounded by ROSES, and filled with Lavender and Ivy.  Love that it is rusting so beautifully!
And last but not least..A great Rose Bowl find!  A pair!  All chippy and weathered!  I hope you enjoyed visiting my White Wednesday Garden......Now go visit Kathleen!  Have a HAPPY  Wednesday..:) xokathee

Remnants of the Past Antique Show

Charley, Dustin and I feel very fortunate to have been invited to participate in the Remnants of the Past Show.  This was an AMAZING adventure for us.....We had so much fun at this show!  Judy and Judi were the perfect host!  It was truly an HONOR to be a part of this event.  I was so busy packing the trailer and worrying if I brought enough stuff..I totally forgot to bring my camera.  (I'm sucha newbie!)  But thankfully Jenny Malott did a beautiful video of the show.   I loved it that she captured 3 pictures of my booth and 1 picture of the 3 of us at the dinner the night before.  I hope you enjoy the video!  Have a great week everyone!
